My name is Chris Stiehl. I have had diabetes for over 45 years. About 25 years ago, I began losing sensation in my feet due to peripheral neuropathy caused by diabetes. There was extreme “phantom” pain in my feet and toes as the nerves died. The situation progressed until I had no feeling in my feet up to my ankles.

A few years ago, I was visiting my in-laws over the fourth of July. I was standing on concrete near their pool when I noticed my niece hopping around due to the hot pavement when she left the pool. Needless to say, I couldn’t feel the hot concrete below my feet! I suffered large blisters on both feet as a result of “forgetting” for a few minutes that I was diabetic and had no feeling in my feet. Both feet healed over several months, but one had a small staph infection inside where it had healed. Eventually, I had to have my toes amputated on that foot, from the metatarsil joints forward. It was an unpleasant reward for forgetting that I had lost sensation in my feet.

Not too long after, I had a trip to San Francisco from my home in San Diego. Once I was airborne, I threw my keys into my tennis shoes in my suitcase. When I got home a few days later, I couldn’t remember where I put the keys to get into my own house. Then I realized I was wearing the tennis shoes. I had driven home and walked in the shoes without realizing all my keys were in my shoe! I had jammed my foot into the shoe and felt nothing!

I began taking Glucotize (time release alpha-lipoic acid). For the first three months, I didn’t notice any change in sensation. Then I began to be able to sense when I was standing on a cold tile floor, such as in my bathroom. This was a miracle to me, as I hadn’t had any such sensation in years. I could feel the texture of the floor (carpet versus wood or tile).

While at work one day, I popped a bag of popcorn. One of the unpopped kernels fell into my shoe. I found out when I stood and felt the kernel in my shoe! This was amazing to me! It was the same foot where I had not felt the whole wad of keys just months before! It felt like a miracle to me!

I had been told that my nerve damage was irreversible. I do not have complete recovery of nerve function, but I have recovered a lot of what had been lost! I have also noticed improvements in other conditions resulting from nerve damage caused by diabetes (sharp phantom pains, stomach acidity, sexual functioning, etc.).

I believe in Glucotize as it has restored function in nerves that had been a problem for me for years. I am very pleased to endorse this product. I believe in it!
